Ingredients |
- 16 oz RB sirloin pieces
- 4 oz OHA bacon, diced
- 1 oz spanish onion, diced
- 3 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 8 oz Guiness draft

- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 8 cups beef stock
- salt and pepper
|
- Crisp bacon in pot, remove and set aside.
- Brown diced beef in bacon fat, add onion.
- Add flour and brown sugar to beef, stir until
flour is blended.
- While stirring, add beef stock to pot, then
simmer for 30 minutes until beef is tender.
- Add remaining ingredients, cook until
vegetables are tender.
